Dear Colleagues,
The Board of Trustees of the Maryland Association of Historic District Commissions decided to postpone the 2020 Annual Symposium from May 9th to next spring. All training programs will also be postponed until a future date. These decisions follow state guidelines and regulations to address the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in Maryland. Updated information from the Maryland Historical Trust about closings and cancellations is available at https://mht.maryland.gov/.
Updates about future decisions about MAHDC programs will be shared as they become available on the MAHDC Facebook Page and website, www.mahdc.org. Please send questions about MAHDC programs and courses to Leslie Gottert, Executive Director (director@mahdc.org).
The Vernacular Architecture Forum (VAF) and the National Alliance of Preservation Commissions (NAPC) have also taken decisions concerning their upcoming events and information about them is available on the following websites:
