Fall Walking Tour of Washington Grove, MD

The Maryland Association of Historic District Commissions (MAHDC) and the Washington Grove Historic Preservation Commission are hosting a fall walking tour of Washington Grove on Sunday, October 21st, at 2:00 p.m. Local preservationist, Clare Lise Kelly will offer a lively and informative lecture with slides before leading the tour. In addition to viewing the Grove’s historical homes from its charming streets and walkways, four residences, dating to the Camp Meeting Period, will be open for tours of the interior. A reception will follow at the lovely home of Terry and Chris Kirtz, long-time Washington Grove residents.
