SEARCH is a federally certified woman-owned business that provides the full spectrum of cultural heritage services. Since 1993, SEARCH has completed more than 4,000 of projects for federal and state/local governments as well as private sector clients. SEARCH has provided consultation services in compliance with Sections 106 and 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act, the National Environmental Policy Act, Section 4(f), Native American Graves Repatriation Act, and the Archeological Resources Protection Act, among others. Our regional staff have long-standing relationships with state agencies such as the Maryland Historical Trust and have served on the Board of Directors for the Archaeology Society of Maryland. By integrating science, technology, and creativity, SEARCH harnesses the power of the past to advance the projects, places, and people it serves.
