Plans for a cubic, modern five-story apartment building on a quaint residential street in Fells Point were stalled this week by a city historic preservation panel.
The plan by Washington Street LLC to building the multi-family development with a ground-level parking garage at 509 S. Washington St. was put on bold by the Commission for Historical and Architectural Preservation, or CHAP, at a meeting Tuesday at City Hall.
