SUMMARY:MAHDC 40th Anniversary Celebration & Traditional Picnic
DESCRIPTION:To cap off the celebration of the fortieth anniversary of the Maryland Association of Historic District Commissions (MAHDC)\, the Board of Directors is organizing a Traditional Picnic and invites all MAHDC supporters to attend with family and friends.\n \nThe picnic will take place on Sunday\, September 15\, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the historic Glenview Mansion\, Rockville Civic Center\, 603 Edmonston Drive\, Rockville\, MD 20851. \nCelebrate the 40th anniversary of MAHDC\, spend time socializing with colleagues\, family and friends\, while enjoying Bayside Catering’s delicious\, summer picnic fare (menu below)\, and rocking to the lively Bluegrass music.  \nExplore the elegant\, 1926 Neo-Classical Revival Glenview Mansion and its extensive grounds that feature formal gardens and ‘The Cottage’\, a delightful example of an early 20th century children’s playhouse.
