City of Frederick HPC votes to postpone decision on demolition of 56 S. Market St. until next public hearing

Frederick’s Historic Preservation Commission on Thursday voted to postpone its decision on a request to demolish the front, three-story portion of 56 S. Market St. until its next public hearing. The continuance came after a motion to deny property owner Suitland Road LLC’s demolition request failed by a split 3-3 vote.
